Monaco is set to host the inaugural edition of Handipact Day on Tuesday, December 3, from 10:00 to 16:00. at the Novotel Hotel. This pioneering event will showcase innovations that improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. Organised by the Princely Government through the Department of Social Affairs and Health, the initiative coincides with the United Nations’ International Day of Persons with Disabilities, celebrated annually since 1992.
Themed “Innovation at the Service of Disability”, Handipact Day 2024 will highlight technological advancements that foster accessibility and inclusion. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover and test innovative solutions, some presented in the Principality for the first time. The event will also promote collaboration between companies, associations, and visitors to tackle pressing challenges in disability support.
A key feature of the program is a roundtable discussion with experts and disability ambassadors, offering insights into how innovation transforms lives and fosters greater social integration.
With this initiative, Monaco reaffirms its commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible society. By promoting awareness and inspiring action, Handipact Day aims to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
The event is free and open to the public, with facilities fully accessible to persons with reduced mobility. For more information, visit the event’s LinkedIn page: Handipact Monaco.
