Celebrated French pastry chef Cédric Grolet is bringing a festive afternoon tea experience to the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, combining his signature creations with seasonal flavours and a touch of Christmas nostalgia…

Speaking to Monaco Info, Grolet explained that the menu was inspired by childhood memories and the comforting traditions of Christmas, whilst retaining the refinement associated with his Monaco boutique.

Guests can expect a selection of savoury delicacies featuring premium ingredients, including caviar, lobster and truffle, alongside traditional scones and six miniature pastries presented on an elaborate Christmas tree-inspired display.

The chef’s celebrated trompe-l’œil creations, which resemble familiar fruits and other objects, also feature in the festive offering. The special tea costs €150 per person, including a glass of champagne and other refreshments.

For those looking to take something home, the Monaco boutique is offering four varieties of Christmas yule log, priced at €75 each and designed to serve six people.

The seasonal collection will remain available until December 31, providing another opportunity to discover Grolet’s distinctive approach to festive patisserie.
