HSH Prince Albert visited the French team at the Olympic Village, expressing his support for the athletes and admiration for the state-of-the-art facilities created for the event.
Known for his dedication to sports and regular participation in Olympic competitions, Prince Albert II received a warm welcome from André-Pierre Goubert, Director of the Olympic Pole of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), and Jackson Richardson, Chef de Mission for the French delegation. Together, they toured the areas designated for French athletes, emphasizing the extensive efforts made to ensure an optimal environment for performance.
Situated near the Monaco team’s quarters, the three buildings allocated to the French team, one of which is shared with the Belgian delegation, stand out for their comfort and functionality. With 518 beds available, the Village showcases its impressive capacity to host athletes. The facilities are meticulously designed to enhance performance, providing all the necessary comforts for athletes to focus on their Olympic goals.
