La matière apprivoisée – Exhibition

ESPACE 22 is hosting the exhibition “La matière apprivoisée”, celebrating the brilliant career of artist Jean Marc Mariani, where the material becomes a canvas or a living sculpture for his imagination. Let yourself be transported into a world of pure abstraction, where shapes and colours combine harmoniously to evoke emotions and sensations. Two evenings will be dedicated to the book signing of “La Matière apprivoisée” by Jean-Marc Mariani: Thursday, November 23 and Thursday, November 30. Jazz & Modern Music – Académie Rainier III – Concert

Performing a mix of jazz standards and pop music, the talents of the Principality of Monaco’s prestigious Rainier III Academy will be appearing at the Opera Garnier Monte-Carlo as part of the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival. Le Prince au cœur du cirque – Exhibition

See a vast treasure trove of circus exhibits, including still photographs, moving picture footage, artists’ costumes, previously unseen documents, posters, and more, as part of celebrations marking the centenary of Prince Rainier III. Curated by HSH Princess Stéphanie and Dr. Alain Frère, the scenography and curatorship were guided by the words of Prince Rainier III, who recalled that “the circus is experienced with the senses and that it is above all a living art”. His writings and testimonies accompany the visitor on a journey combining video extracts from emblematic acts, unpublished documents from the Palais de Monaco Archives, numerous costumes from the collection of Dr. Alain Frère and works brought together for the first time , in order to experience and discover the history of the most prestigious Festival in the circus world. American Club of the Riviera Thanksgiving luncheon

The American Club of the Riviera will host its traditional Thanksgiving luncheon at the Hotel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo on Thursday, November 23. The venue will be the beautiful Salle Belle Epoque at the Hotel Hermitage, with a champagne reception beginning at 12:30, followed by a traditional American feast of turkey and all the trimmings. Sur un air de tango – Theatre

The paradox of a very different father and son. In the restaurant he owns, like most young fathers, Pierre works hard, motivated by nothing more than the desire to make his family happy. Max, his father, who has never really grown up and leads a carefree life, is enjoying retirement with his buddies and the memories of his late wife. At first glance, it would seem that while one of them is struggling to keep it together, the other aspires only to dancing a tango on the ballroom floor. L.U.C.A – Hervé Guerrisi & Gregory Carnoli – Theatre

“Where are you from?” From this seemingly mundane question, L.U.C.A (Last Universal Common Ancestor) goes back to the origins of Mankind and explore with (im)pertinence the notions of inheritance and integration. A show for all ages, a mix of documentary theatre, acerbic lecture, and forum of resistance that seeks to bring a new perspective to the debate about who we are and where we come from.

Jan Garbarek Group feat. Trilok Gurtu Quartet – Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival

Nothing is more difficult than what is simple. Jan Garbarek has been striving for 60 years to make the difficult, clear and obvious. As an improvising musician , Jan Garbarek states that he seeks to adapt his playing “to the tone, texture and temperament of the music: it’s about finding a common language”. The quest for this language has spanned time: from folk songs from his native Norway to improvisations around medieval polyphony, including jazz but also Indian music. Monte-Carlo Gastronomie – Trade Fair

The 26th Monte-Carlo Gastronomie invites visitors to taste and buy a wide variety of carefully selected products in the run-up to the seasonal holidays. Four pianists on stage, four immense figures of the jazz scene and endless musical possibilities. Under a simple word, Pianoforte , talent is combined with panache in the plural, in eight hands, for an exceptional musical moment. December Light – Exhibition

La Società delle Api (The Bee Society) hosts the first solo exhibition in Monaco by Yu Nishimura. With the title “December Light”, Yu Nishimura’s paintings depict an everyday environment with his specific ability to bring out the light that emanates from the surfaces. Polar Mission – Exhibition

Discover an immersive and interactive experience! Take on the role of a roving reporter and set off on a mission to explore the Polar regions! This new exhibition includes five thematic areas spread over two levels. Learn about the Poles and their wildlife, and the men and women who populate and explore them. L’amie des Princes – Exhibition

Visitors to the photography exhibition “L’amie des princes” (“A Friend to the Princes”) will have the chance to see unique documents from the archives of the Prince’s Palace and the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco. The exhibition is part of the Tribute to Colette, organised in partnership with the Palace Archives and the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, commemorating the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of Colette’s birth.
