The Monegasque royal family celebrated Monaco’s National Day in style in front of hundreds of residents and admirers of the Principality on the morning of Sunday, November 19.

Escorted by several carabinieri, HSH Prince Albert II and HSH Princess Charlene arrived at the Monaco Cathedral for the Thanksgiving Mass with Te Deum, and were followed in to the service by the sovereign’s two sisters, Princess Caroline and Princess Stéphanie.

The family returned to the Prince’s Palace for the taking of arms and the presentation of rank insignia, all broadcast on a giant screen for those in attendance at the Place du Palais.

Finally, the Princely couple and their children, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella took to the balcony of the palace to wave to the adoring hordes, making for a lovely picture.
