HSH Princess Charlene has taken to the waves again, this time not as a swimmer but as a water-biker. The Princess is planning a charity marathon from Corsica to Monaco using two relay teams to take place this September.
The event will support her Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation which works for better water safety, with a particular focus on preventing drowning deaths.
Charlene has called the 228-kilometre marathon “an incredible human adventure” and said she hopes it will bring more awareness to the importance of water safety.
