As part of the National Day festivities, the Principality paid tribute to the dedication and loyalty of its workforce during the traditional Médaille du Travail ceremony, held at the Oceanographic Museum on the morning of Thursday, November 13.
Minister of State Christophe Mirmand and Government Counsellor–Minister for Social Affairs and Health Christophe Robino presided over the event, personally presenting medals to employees recognised for their years of service and commitment to their professions.
The annual ceremony, which forms one of the highlights of Monaco’s National Day celebrations, honours men and women from across the public and private sectors whose careers reflect consistency, professionalism and devotion to the Principality’s values.
Addressing the recipients, Minister Mirmand praised their “sense of duty and perseverance”, emphasising that such qualities form “the quiet strength behind Monaco’s collective success.”
For many honourees, the event offered not only official recognition but a chance to celebrate their careers alongside colleagues and family — a fitting prelude to the National Day events still to come this week.
