The Principality of Monaco is poised to enchant audiences once again with the 47th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, scheduled from January 17 to January 26, 2025. Following the grand jubilee of the 46th edition, which celebrated 50 years since Prince Rainier III established this beloved event, Monaco brought the festivities to life with a grand parade through the streets and a vibrant open-air show at the Palace Square. This upcoming edition promises to carry forward this legacy with a program that gathers top-tier acts from around the globe.

This year’s festival features a series of awe-inspiring performances, many of which are set to make history. In an extraordinary spectacle, over 40 animals will perform together in the ring, making it one of the largest animal presentations in circus history. Audiences will also experience the technical mastery and precision of Chinese bicycle acrobats, debuting a performance never before seen in the world of circus. Adding to the laughter and joy, one of the world’s most beloved clowns from Chile will bring his side-splitting humor, promising audiences an unforgettable experience.

The festival will also showcase the elegance and agility of the majestic Akhal-Teke horses from Turkmenistan in an enchanting equestrian display that seamlessly blends grace and acrobatics. Meanwhile, Mexican trapeze artists will take to the skies with breathtaking aerial feats, including a rare quadruple somersault under the festival’s iconic Chapiteau dome.

Beyond these marquee performances, this year’s lineup includes 20 additional acts that capture the essence of circus arts at their finest. Rising stars from the New Generation competition will showcase their talents alongside seasoned circus professionals, bringing a thrilling mix of youth and expertise to this world-class event.
