Spearheaded by Monaco Mediax’s director Laurent Puons, Sportel 2024 promises a jam-packed program of high-level conferences, exhibitions, and even the renowned Sportel Awards.

From Monday, October 28 until Wednesday, October 30, visitors can explore an impressive array of conferences covering sports media rights, tech in sports, and more. Key speakers this year include former football star Gerard Piqué, who will discuss his Kings League project aimed at revamping football for new audiences, and Alibaba Group President J. Michael Evans. These experts join a roster of other prominent figures like Javier Tebas, president of La Liga, to tackle pressing industry topics such as the impact of piracy on broadcasting rights.

This year’s event boasts around 800 exhibitors from over 70 countries, representing sports organizations, media giants, and innovative tech companies that drive fan engagement. Beyond the talks and tech, the Sportel Awards—scheduled for Monday evening—celebrate standout moments and personalities in sports.
