On Sunday, July 21, Monaco will host the 21st and final stage of the 111th Tour de France, which will be an individual time trial between the Principality and Nice, with the potential to prove decisive for the final victory.
In order to provide maximum details on the stage itself and its ancillary activities, to inform visitors about the means of getting to and getting around Monaco, but also to allow residents to organise their trips as best as possible, the Prince’s Government is launching a dedicated information website accessible here.
It includes, among other things, supporting maps, practical details on the route of the stage, timetables, various activities and operations, transport solutions to and within the Principality, and the impacts to be expected for intramural mobility. A link to download the Citymapper application is also available to make travel even easier.
The ‘Around the Tour’ section, aimed more particularly at visitors to Monaco, offers ideas for discovering the destination and continuing the Monegasque tourist experience beyond the ‘Grande Boucle’.
Finally, the ‘Monaco and the Tour de France’ section highlights the close relationship that exists with the competition, as the Principality has already hosted the event 11 times and been a stage city six times.
