AS Monaco has signed four promising young players on their first professional contracts. Joan Tincres, Aladji Bamba, Dan Sinaté and Amal Boura have earned their pro contracts after impressing at the club’s reputable academy, ‘La Diagonale’.
All born in 2006, the rookies follow in the footsteps of some impressive academy graduates, such as Thierry Henry, Kylian Mbappe and the recently departed Emmanuel Petit, all of whom have gone on to win the World Cup.
These four newly professional players have already experienced international football with France at youth level, with Bamba and Tincres winning the Limoges International Tournament with France.
Successful abroad but also domestically, Bamba, Tincres and Sinaté won the 2023 Coupe Gambardella with the AS Monaco Under 18s, the fifth Gambardella cup to ever be lifted by the club. Boura had not yet joined La Diagonale, having moved to Monaco from Olympique Lyonnais in that following summer.
Defensive midfielder Bamba has signed with Monaco until June 2026, as has defender Sinaté. Meanwhile, centre-forward Tincres and right-winger Boura are tied down to the Principality side until June 2027. The signing of four youth players is a positive move from the club, which has already found an abundance of success with its academy.
