The Roca Team continue to entertain, having put on a show when LNB rivals Paris came to Monaco’s Salle Gaston Medecin for a regular league game on Sunday, February 5.
A composed Monaco squad came back from behind to beat Paris by 24-21 points at the end of the first quarter, and began to accelerate away from their visitors in the second quarter. A dominant Donta Hall played the role of centre perfectly on the night, making a handful of sensational blocks and a steal to a dunk, while Mike James was lethal as ever shooting from beyond the rim.
With a scoreline of 53-42 at the break, Saša Obradović’s men were looking confident going into the third quarter, a recipe for success as it turns out. Another block from Hall lead to an alley-oop that sent even the commentators crazy. Watch the full highlights below.
At the end of all four quarters, Monaco came out on top, leading to a strong 103-81 win over Paris. With yet another win in the French League, the Roca team currently comfortably occupy first place in the LNB table.
