Only 57.26 percent of registered voters cast a vote in the elections for the National Council, which closed on Sunday evening.
Five years ago, during the last election, the turnout was 74.55 percent, and in 2013 70.35 percent.
The low turnout suggests that voters were unenthusiastic about the alternatives on offer, or believed that the result was a foregone conclusion.
Voting took place at only one polling stations, Espace Léo-Ferré in Fontvieille. All 24 sears are up for election.
NEWS.MC will publish the results as soon as they are made available.
