AS Monaco’s midfield monster Aurelian Tchouameni has chosen to join La Liga giants Real Madrid over Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, as the French international prepares to leave the Principality side.

RMC Sport reported on Tuesday, May 24, that Tchouameni will join Real Madrid on a five year contract for around 80 million euros, a much higher price than originally discussed, and that is excluding any bonuses.

The 22 year-old Frenchman has become one of the most exciting young prospects in European football through his consistently high level of performance both on a club level at Bordeaux and Monaco, and also at the international level with ‘Les Bleus’.
