Casse-Noisette Compagnie – Monte-Carlo Ballet

The Monte-Carlo Ballet will perform Jean-Christophe Maillot’s ‘Casse-Noisette Compagnie’ or ‘Nutcracker company’ one last time this season, on Tuesday, January 4.

“Maillot transposes the story of this great classic into the world of a dance company. The Stahlbaum family is still there, along with Clara and Fritz, but the bourgeois house has been replaced by a large dance studio run without fancy by their parents,” reads the Monte-Carlo Ballet website.

Each performance benefits from the participation of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Kazuki Yamada.

Tuesday’s performance will begin at 19:30 in the Salle Prince Pierre of the Grimaldi Forum.
