The Prince’s Government, in collaboration with the Monaco Bus Company and the Mairie, is launching Monapass, a new all-mobility application as well as the new CAM ticketing system.
Monapass is the new Extended Monaco-labelled application intended for locals, tourists and commuters.
Developed by the Department of Environmental Equipment and Urban Planning and the Inter-ministerial Delegation in charge of Digital Transition, the digital interface brings together bus, electric bicycles and parking.
Subscriptions and payment for the three services are integrated into a single application – Monapass – which also offers real-time traffic information and route suggestions.
Users can also organise and pay, in complete safety, for their trips via a single ticket, a pass or a bus or bicycle subscription according to their individual needs.
For users of the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco, the use of of Monapass is enabled through a new ticketing system resulting from a fruitful collaboration with the CB group. In addition to payment via this new application and their current subscriber cards, the new system also makes it possible to validate and pay for journeys with a contactless CB bank card, directly on the bus by placing it on the validator to benefit from the best price – per day, week or month – according to the journeys they will have made.
