A 91 year-old Monaco resident has died following a positive test for coronavirus, the Government said on Wednesday evening, February 3. According to the Government’s calculations, this was the 17th coronavirus-related death among Monaco residents.
Twenty-nine new cases of coronavirus were detected in the previous 24 hours, with 25 full recoveries.
The number of residents being treated as in-patients at the Princess Grace Hospital rose to to 43, with seven residents in intensive care.
The number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre now stands at 139.
Meanwhile, in the 9,202 new cases and 1,322 new deaths were notified on Wednesday evening, while in France the figures were 26,362 new cases and 357 new deaths.
