His Serene Highness Prince Albert II took to two wheels this weekend to support a cause close to the heart of the Principality, joining participants in the 12th edition of the COCC Ride, the annual charity cycling event linking Saint-Tropez and Monaco.
What began in 2011 as a small gathering among friends has grown into one of Monaco’s best-known fundraising sporting events. This year’s ride brought together nearly 100 cyclists, all united by a shared goal of raising awareness and support for a number of charitable organisations.
The event once again combined endurance, community spirit and philanthropy, with riders covering the scenic route along the French Riviera before arriving in Monaco. Prince Albert’s participation highlighted the importance of the initiative and its continued role in supporting charitable causes both locally and beyond.
Over the past decade, the COCC Ride has evolved into a fixture on Monaco’s sporting and fundraising calendar, attracting participants from a variety of backgrounds while maintaining the friendly atmosphere that defined its early years.
