An anniversary celebration was held yesterday in the Empire Room of the Hôtel de Paris to mark the 20th anniversary of Monaco-based asset management company 2PM…
The event took place in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, alongside numerous dignitaries and leading figures from the Principality’s financial sector. Founded in 2006, 2PM has grown alongside Monaco’s expanding reputation as an international financial centre. Speaking during the celebration, founder and managing director Cok Glou reflected on the remarkable evolution of the sector over the past two decades.
He noted that when the company was launched, Monaco counted around 20 asset management firms and approximately 30 banks. Today, the Principality is home to roughly 75 management companies and more than 30 banking institutions, underlining the rapid development and increasing influence of Monaco’s financial industry.
Glou also spoke of his pride in contributing to that growth as a Monegasque entrepreneur. Beginning with €176 million in assets under management, 2PM has since expanded internationally with branches in Switzerland and Luxembourg, and now oversees more than €1.5 billion in assets.
The anniversary celebration reflected both the company’s success story and Monaco’s continuing position as a respected and dynamic European financial hub.
