The hit Netflix series Emily in Paris is heading to Monaco, with part of its sixth season set to be filmed in the Principality…
The news was first revealed by the American magazine Variety and confirmed during a special panel at PaleyFest in Los Angeles on April 10.
Production is expected to take place between May 11 and September 30, 2026, with Monaco joining Greece as one of the new filming locations. While plot details remain under wraps, the move suggests a fresh chapter for the globally popular series, which has increasingly expanded beyond its Parisian roots in recent seasons.
Starring Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, the show has become a worldwide phenomenon since its launch in 2020, blending romance, fashion and escapism. Its glamorous portrayal of European lifestyles makes Monaco a natural fit, particularly during the summer months when the Principality is at its most vibrant.
Speculation is already building around how Monaco will feature in the storyline, with some suggesting a link to major events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix. However, no official details have been confirmed.
The series also has a prior connection to Monaco, with creator Darren Star and cast members having attended the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in 2021.
With filming set to begin soon, Monaco is preparing to take centre stage in one of Netflix’s most recognisable productions.
