A striking new exhibition at Mareterra is inviting visitors to step inside the dreamlike world of Salvador Dalí, with more than 300 square metres dedicated to works by the iconic Surrealist master and a selection of contemporary artists…
Running until March 22 at 12 Quai du Petit Portier, the exhibition combines public display with an opportunity for collectors to acquire works.
At the heart of the presentation is a curated group of Dalí pieces, including notable paintings and a strong ensemble of original sculptures that highlight the artist’s fascination with symbolism, illusion and the subconscious. Visitors are encouraged to engage not only with Dalí’s unmistakable visual language, but also with the ideas that shaped one of the most influential artistic figures of the twentieth century.
Alongside Dalí, the exhibition introduces contemporary voices such as Patrick Rubinstein, creating a dialogue between historical Surrealism and modern artistic expression. The format is intentionally accessible, aiming to attract seasoned collectors, professionals and casual visitors alike, while offering a fresh way to experience art outside traditional museum settings.
The project is the result of a partnership between Dalí Universe, internationally recognised for preserving and promoting Dalí’s legacy, and Lart Universe, a global platform supporting modern and contemporary artists. Together, they bring an ambitious, immersive cultural experience to Monaco’s newest waterfront district.
