As part of Monaco’s European Week for Waste Reduction (SERD), the Oceanographic Museum opened its doors today for a special “Repair is Fair” event designed to get young people hands-on with sustainable living.
Throughout the day, classes from schools across the Principality and the surrounding region rotated through practical workshops led by specialists and committed partner organisations. From mobile phones and computers to clothing, beauty products and even food, each session focused on how everyday objects can be repaired, reused or given a longer life instead of being discarded.
The initiative aims to show students that small, simple gestures can have a meaningful impact — and that sustainability starts with the habits formed early on.
