The crucial A500 Tunnel linking Monaco with the A8 Autoroute is closed each night this week from 21:00 until 05:00 for maintenance work, ending at 05:00 on Friday morning.
Diversions have been put in place. Interestingly, on Monday night the closure was not shown on satellite guidance apps.
Drivers heading towards Nice are advised to take ether the Motyenne Corniche or the now reopened Basse Corniche. Those travelling to Nice Airport should allow at least 45 minutes.

Returning, drivers are advised to avoid the A8, as they will need to overshoot the closed tunnel offramp. Alternatively, having left the A8 they can make their way to Monaco though La Turbie.
