As part of an educational project on the theme of the tree that is being carried out throughout the school year, a CM2 class at the Institution François d’Assise-Nicolas Barré asked the Gardens Section of the Department of Urban Development to organise workshops and site visits.
“The man who planted trees” by Jean Giono and the film of the same name by Frédéric Back, produced in class and at the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, were the theme of workshops centred on the carob tree, the national tree of Monaco.
The workshops will be extended by a nature outing and activities in the field.
