One of Monte-Carlo Beach’s most iconic waterfront venues has entered a new era with the opening of La Vigie Zanoni Monte-Carlo, a seasonal restaurant led by acclaimed Italian chef Simone Zanoni.
The new concept, which launched on Friday, June 12 and will run through Sunday, September 13, transforms the celebrated La Vigie peninsula into a Mediterranean dining destination centred on Italian cuisine, seasonal ingredients and a relaxed sharing-table atmosphere.
Perched between the sea and pine-covered coastline, the restaurant offers a menu inspired by Zanoni’s Lombard roots, featuring fresh pasta, seafood, grilled meats and vegetables sourced according to the season. Guests can expect signature dishes including Milanese veal cutlet, Tortellini Carbonara and braised veal agnolotti, alongside a creation developed specifically for the venue: tagliolini with caviar and Champagne.

Traditional Italian desserts also feature prominently, with tiramisu and pistachio semifreddo among the highlights.
Speaking at the launch, Zanoni described the opportunity to take over La Vigie as both a privilege and a personal homecoming, noting the restaurant’s proximity to Italy and its exceptional seaside setting.
Alongside the food offering, La Vigie Zanoni has introduced a drinks menu inspired by Italian aperitivo culture, featuring classic cocktails such as Bellinis and Negronis, as well as a range of alcohol-free creations.
To make access easier during the summer season, Monte-Carlo Beach is also operating a complimentary shuttle boat service between Port Hercule and the hotel, allowing visitors to reach the restaurant by sea in around 15 minutes.
The opening forms part of Monte-Carlo Beach’s wider summer programme and adds a new gastronomic attraction to Monaco’s hospitality scene, combining Italian flavours with one of the Riviera’s most picturesque dining locations.
