The sixth edition of the Monte-Carlo Festival of Stars officially opened this week at Blue Bay Marcel Ravin with an exceptional four-hands dinner bringing together chefs Marcel Ravin and Glenn Viel…

The gastronomic event marked the beginning of a spring and summer programme featuring six collaborative dinners between some of the culinary world’s most celebrated chefs, before concluding with the traditional gala at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.

In the kitchens at Blue Bay, preparations began hours before service as teams worked side by side to create a menu inspired by the unique culinary identities of both chefs. Ravin’s Caribbean influences met Viel’s Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in what organisers described as a true dialogue between two gastronomic worlds.

Speaking ahead of the dinner, Marcel Ravin highlighted the importance of welcoming internationally recognised chefs to Monaco, both to inspire local teams and reinforce the Principality’s growing reputation as a world-class culinary destination.

Glenn Viel also emphasised the challenge and excitement of creating dishes in a new environment, describing the evening as an opportunity to surprise guests and offer a fresh interpretation of fine dining.

The next event in the Monte-Carlo Festival of Stars will take place at the Hôtel de Paris with another prestigious four-hands dinner later this season.
