One of the Riviera’s most high-profile Formula 1 party events is set to return this summer with a new culinary twist, as SUNSET Monaco teams up with acclaimed chef Mauro Colagreco for the 2026 Grand Prix weekend.

Running from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7 at Le Méridien Beach Plaza, the beachside event will introduce “Casa SUNSET”, an open-air dining concept created in collaboration with the chef behind the three-Michelin-starred Mirazur, once named the world’s best restaurant.

Positioned between fine dining experience and late-night beach club, the new concept aims to blend gastronomy with the high-energy atmosphere that has become synonymous with Monaco’s Formula 1 weekend.

Organisers say guests can expect a four-course tasting menu inspired by some of Colagreco’s signature dishes, served against the backdrop of the Mediterranean before the venue transitions into an afterparty space with live DJ sets running into the early hours.

Now entering its 13th edition, SUNSET has evolved into one of the Principality’s best-known social fixtures during the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, attracting an international crowd from the worlds of motorsport, fashion, luxury and entertainment.

Speaking ahead of the event, Colagreco said Monaco’s Grand Prix atmosphere offered the perfect setting for a more relaxed interpretation of haute cuisine, describing the project as a way of bringing high-level gastronomy into a freer and more festive environment.

SUNSET co-founders Cédric Houdrouge and Thomas Peeters described the partnership as a natural evolution for the brand, adding that gastronomy had become an increasingly important part of the overall experience alongside music and nightlife.

The event will once again take place directly on the waterfront at Le Méridien Beach Plaza, with access available both by road and private tender service. Reservations will be handled exclusively through the event’s dedicated online platform, with organisers opting for controlled attendance and timed access slots throughout the weekend.

With Monaco preparing for another packed Grand Prix week, the addition of Mauro Colagreco adds yet another layer of luxury to a calendar already overflowing with superyachts, champagne and sleepless nights.
