Monaco paid tribute to five of its top tennis talents on Thursday, December 11 as the Town Hall hosted a ceremony recognising athletes who have long carried the colours of the Monegasque Tennis Federation.

Mayor Georges Marsan presented medals to Valentin Vacherot, Lucas Catarina, Benjamin Balleret, Hugo Nys and Romain Arneodo, praising their sustained dedication to the national set-up and their role in promoting Monaco on the international tennis circuit.

The players attended the event alongside Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy, President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation, and their coaching and support staff: Guillaume Couillard, Julien Wahl, Antoine Felipe and Thomas Drocourt.

A sizeable municipal delegation was also present for the occasion. Among those attending were Camille Svara, First Deputy Mayor; Marjorie Crovetto, Second Deputy Mayor; Jacques Pastor, Fourth Deputy Mayor; and Karyn Ardisson-Salopek, Eighth Deputy Mayor. Councillors Georges Gambarini and Nathalie Vaccarezza were also in attendance, as well as Arnaud Giusti, Head of the Sports and Associations Department.
