In 2024, Monaco’s tourism figures were already very positive. This high level of tourism is unlikely to slow down, thanks in particular to the growing influx of travellers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE)…
Thanks to a visa waiver policy that facilitates access to 185 countries, these wealthy visitors are now exploring new destinations, and Monaco is high on their list of preferences.
A considerable economic impact
In 2023, Emirati travellers made 4.3 million trips abroad, injecting no less than 25.1 billion dollars into the international tourism economy. This craze for travel has led to a constant search for top-of-the-range services, making Monaco an ideal destination to meet their requirements.
A clientele in search of exclusivity
Visitors from the UAE prefer luxury experiences, refined gastronomy and prestigious accommodation, criteria that are perfectly aligned with what Monaco has to offer. Palaces, Michelin-starred restaurants and haute couture boutiques are all part of this appeal, reinforcing Monaco’s image as an exceptional showcase on the world tourism scene.
With this dynamic, the Principality is taking full advantage of the boom in luxury tourism, confirming its status as a destination for the most discerning travellers.
