Europa-Park has unveiled a major surprise for its 50th anniversary: the park’s 18th themed district will be dedicated to Monaco. Set to open in 2026, the new area will bring the glamour of the Mediterranean principality to the heart of the popular German amusement park.

The announcement, subtly revealed in the book 50 Years of Europa-Park – The Magical Moments, confirms that Monaco will take its place at the park’s entrance. Visitors can expect an immersive experience inspired by the principality’s iconic Formula 1 Grand Prix, luxurious casino, and vibrant port. Adding to the excitement, Monaco will become home to Silver Star, the park’s flagship roller coaster, which previously represented France with its towering 73-meter drop.

The decision to highlight Monaco reflects the close ties between the Mack family, founders of Europa-Park, and His Serene Highness Prince Albert II. Their strong relationship was recently reinforced when Roland Mack was named Ambassador of Circus 2025 by the prince at the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival.

As Europa-Park celebrates its half-century, more surprises are likely on the horizon. Fans eagerly await further details on how the essence of Monaco will be brought to life in this thrilling new addition.
