Monaco united in mourning today as a minute of silence was observed at 11:00 to honour the late Minister of State, Didier Guillaume. The Government of Monaco gathered solemnly on the forecourt of the Ministry of State, while the Prince’s Carabiniers paid their respects on the Palace Square.

In the Hall of the Monaco Town Hall, Mayor Georges Marsan, joined by members of the Municipal Council and Isabelle Costa, Secretary General, led municipal officials and agents in tribute to Guillaume. This gesture of remembrance extended across all municipal sites, reflecting the profound impact of his contributions to the Principality.

For those wishing to pay their final respects, a chapel of rest has been arranged in the Chapelle de la Miséricorde, located on the Place de la Mairie. This space offers an opportunity for the public to honour the memory of Didier Guillaume and reflect on his service to Monaco.
