Monaco’s senior citizens now have the chance to become ambassadors for sustainable living through the MaConsigne campaign, an initiative launched by the Prince’s Government in 2022. The government invites energetic seniors to lead by example and inspire Monaco’s younger generations toward more eco-responsible consumption.
MaConsigne’s campaign seeks to spotlight the wisdom of Monaco’s elders, using their experiences and advice to promote a sustainable future. The selected ambassador will appear in a promotional video, airing on Monaco Info and social media channels, encouraging viewers to adopt MaConsigne’s waste-reduction practices. In addition, the ambassador will participate in occasional awareness-raising activities alongside the Mission for Energy Transition to further educate the public on the benefits of deposit-return systems.
Ideal candidates should be familiar with the principles of MaConsigne, dedicated to environmental values, and eager to help shape Monaco’s sustainable future. Seniors interested in representing MaConsigne can submit their application and a photo via email to lcalori@gouv.mc, or by post to Léa Calori at the Direction of Communication, 10 bis Quai Antoine 1er, 98000 Monaco.
Selected candidates will attend a photo and video shoot on Friday, November 22, at 14:30, at the Mission for Energy Transition, located at 18 Allée Lazare Sauvaigo. A panel of representatives from the Mission for Energy Transition and the Direction of Communication will select the final face of MaConsigne.
