As part of the year’s celebration of the Prix Musical, a prestigious award presented by the Fondation Prince Pierre, a spiritual concert will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 18:00 at the Monaco Cathedral.
HSH Prince Albert will be in attendance, highlighting the importance of this event for Monaco’s cultural and musical scene.
The concert, performed by the renowned Estonian vocal ensemble Vox Clamantis, will be conducted by Jaan-Eik Tulve. The program will feature sacred music composed by three celebrated contemporary composers: Arvo Pärt, Valentin Silvestrov, and Helena Tulve.
A particularly special highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of Quatre Psaumes by Valentin Silvestrov. This new work was commissioned by the Fondation Prince Pierre and is dedicated to Her Royal Highness, Princess Caroline of Hanover.
The concert promises to be a unique blend of spiritual and contemporary music, offering attendees an immersive experience in the serene atmosphere of Monaco’s Cathedral. The event is free, but reservations are highly recommended.
