The Monaco Bus Company (CAM) has issued a warning to its users about a new scam circulating on Facebook, involving a fake page that falsely claims to offer one-year free subscription cards. This is the second time since this August that the company has alerted the public about such fraudulent activity on social media.
The fake Facebook page, titled ‘Special offer for Monaco residents’, invites users to click on a link to receive free transport until the end of October. The scam is further reinforced by fake user comments praising the service. The Monaco Bus Company urges users to disregard this false information and avoid clicking on any suspicious links.
The company reminds passengers that the only official sources for bus services and information are the official CAM website and the Monapass app.
