Monaco is preparing to host the 21st edition of the prestigious Golden Foot Awards, an extraordinary event that celebrates football legends and contemporary stars. Under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert, the event will take place on Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31 at the renowned Automobile Club de Monaco, which will be transformed into a football fan’s dream.

The festivities will begin on October 30 with a press conference in the Salon des Princes. This year’s event will spotlight both iconic football legends and outstanding current players, including Saki Kumagai, winner of the Golden Foot Féminin, and legends like Ruud Krol, Fabio Cannavaro, and Fernando Llorente, who will be honored with the ‘Golden Foot Legends’ awards.

Antonio Caliendo, founder and president of the Golden Foot Awards, will be joined by Alain Boghossian, former French international and 1998 World Cup champion, adding to the excitement. During the press conference, the revamped Golden Foot trophy will also be revealed, now enhanced with a sleek new design featuring a touch of 24-carat gold, and equipped with modern technological flair.

In addition to the awards, an exciting new project will be unveiled by Ing. Alejandro Lavarello, Vice President of the Golden Foot Legends Association. The “Golden Foot Legends Café Museum” is set to open in Monaco, combining a bar-restaurant with a football museum. This innovative space will offer an immersive experience, blending football’s storied past with cutting-edge technology. To mark the launch of this project, a special piece of artwork will be revealed for the first time during the conference, tying this new venture closely to the Principality.
