Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso and Monaco’s HSH Prince Albert were among the prominent speakers at the 2024 Monaco Private Label (MPL) Summit, held on Tuesday, September 17, at the Fairmont Hotel. The event highlighted Monaco’s strengths as a nation, from its strong community spirit to its commitment to innovation, positive change, and political and economic stability.

Now in its 15th year, the Monaco Private Label Summit brought together influential figures from the worlds of sport, business, technology, and politics. The event aimed to discuss Monaco’s growing role in global leadership. Founded in 2009 by Prince Albert II’s government, MPL is an exclusive international club that includes high-profile decision-makers and business leaders from over 40 countries.

The club offers its members lifetime access to a premium concierge service and the chance to participate in philanthropic and environmental projects through the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. Chloé Leclercq, MPL’s director, opened the event by expressing her pride in the gathering. “I am so proud to have you all here and to see this unique community gather together and have the support of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II,” she said.

Fernando Alonso, a Monaco resident for the past four years, spoke about “Pioneering Excellence in Sports,” discussing the connection between sports, innovation, and leadership. “Monaco is such a special place,” Alonso remarked. “It gives me the energy to dream for a future life and provides the stability you need to invest and grow.

Monaco offers the best expertise in every field, from law to finance.” Prince Albert closed the event by emphasising Monaco’s unique appeal. “I want people to know that Monaco is not just a place to live; it’s a place to thrive and be part of an incredible community,” he said.
