A flag-raising ceremony took place at the construction site of the new Princess Grace Hospital (NCHPG), led by HSH Prince Albert. The event was attended by key government officials, including Minister of State Didier Guillaume, Jean-Louis Grinda, Vice-President of the National Council, Céline Caron-Dagioni, Minister of Public Works, Environment, and Urban Planning, and other prominent figures such as Christophe Robino, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Lionel Beffre, Minister of the Interior, and Benoîte de Sevelinges, Director of the CHPG.

Held at the highest point of the building, this traditional ceremony marks a significant milestone in the construction of the NCHPG: the completion of the Phase 1 structural work, which will host 75 percent of the future hospital’s activities.

Céline Caron-Dagioni highlighted the importance of this achievement for the future of Monaco, its residents, and neighbouring populations, noting that the project has involved 40,000 cubic meters of concrete, 8,000 tons of steel, and 500,000 hours of work since 2015.
