Luxury car modification firm Mansory has surprised yet again, this time with a two-wheeled homage to the Principality. On Tuesday, April 16, the German company revealed for the first time the ‘Vespa Monaco Edition’, limited to just 99 examples.

Based on a Vespa Elettrica, the ‘Monaco Edition’ has undergone a visual overhaul, having been clad with carbon fibre and genuine leather, and a “special colour design with the national colours of Monaco.” Eagle-eyed readers will even be able to spot the Coat of Arms of House Grimaldi on the full carbon side panels.

Unfortunately the Monegasque racing stripes do not give any speed boosts here, as the Monaco Edition is technically no different to its series counterpart.

This electric, two wheeled machine is a far cry from its name-sake within the firm, as the title was previously used in 2012 to name a modified Ferrari 458 spider limited to just three examples.

The price to pay for this iteration of the Mansory Monaco Edition is not yet listed, but if the prices associated with the firm’s other wild and wonderful creations are anything to go by, then a six figure asking price would not be a total surprise.
