Monaco’s Habitat store closed suddenly on the last day of November with many customer orders unfulfilled and employees in a precarious position just weeks before Christmas last year. The reason cited for the closure in Monaco was unpaid rent to the Mairie. In France, Habitat outlets in France all closed a little later, in the last week of December, 2023.
The following judicial liquidation procedure is concluding with an auction of unliquidated products, including sofas and interior decorations, providing ample opportunity for bargain prices. The auction will take place from 14:00 on Wednesday, March 27, in the Victoria auction room located on Monaco’s rue Bellevue.
The many items destined to go under the hammer will be exhibited at the defunct Habitat store in the Espace Saint-Charles building on avenue St-Charles, which will be open for potential bidders prior to the auction, from 10:00 to 17:00 on Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26.
