As of Monday, March 18, the Hôtel Métropole restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac, won a second star in the Michelin Guide.

The restaurant specialises in modern and inventive cuisine with Mediterranean flavour. In an open-plan kitchen, Michelin-starred chef Christophe Cussac and his team of talented cooks create a gastronomic experience to be expected from the revived restaurant of a five-star Monaco hotel.

In the 1920s the Hôtel Métropole opened the restaurant Les Ambassadeurs, which became an emblematic address of French gastronomy for a Monegasque and international clientele. Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac pays homage to this place.

Definitively, this second star takes the new Les Ambassadeurs from the status of a ‘very good restaurant in its category’ to that with ‘excellent cooking, worth a detour’.
