HRH the Princess of Hanover presided over the ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduating nurses and caregivers on Thursday, September 28.
Also present were Mr Christophe Robino, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Ms Marie-Noëlle Gibelli-Poulain, National Advisor representing the President of the National Council, Ms Boccone-Pagès, and Mrs Benoîte Rousseau de Sevelinges, Director of the CHPG.
In her speech, the Director of the Institute, Ms Josette Piazza-Cadiou, congratulated the students for their rigourous work throughout their learning journey, three years for nurses, one year for assistants caregivers.
Graduating nurse Morgane Padilla-Juares said that respect, mutual aid and kindness had punctuated the students’ daily lives during these three years. “We were able to surpass ourselves, despite the obstacles, and bring out our collective intelligence because, as Euripides said in antiquity: “None of us knows what we all know together.” Twenty-one of the 29 student graduates have been hired by the Princess Grace Hospital, while nine of the 13 students in the nursing assistant class 2022-2023 were hired by the establishment.
