A promising pre-season for AS Monaco continues, as the Monegasques beat Bologna on Friday, July 28, after a successful spell in England.

Wearing the all-new and very blue OCEANO third kit for the first time in a game, the Monaco men looked good, but not all that convincing, in the first half, dropping behind by 2-0 after only 12 minutes of play.

It would be Monaco midfielder Aleksandr Golovin who drew first blood for the visitors, and from quite some range, finding the back of the net from well beyond the box at the 54th minute.

Not satisfied with this, and despite the best efforts of his teammate, Golovin came back to score an even more thunderous goal, this time from a closer but tighter angle at the 75th minute to bring the score to 2-2.

Now equal, the visiting Monegasques did not slow down, and managed to score in the final moment of the match to win it. Caio Henrique whipped an accurate ball on to the head of central defender Guillermo Maripan, who found the back of the net to earn another red and white friendly victory.

Monaco will face Genoa tomorrow, on Saturday, July 29, before facing off against the much more formidable Arsenal side at the Emirates Stadium in London on Wednesday, August 2.
