The number of entities best described as ‘digital’ active and registered in the Monegasque economy grew by 56 from 2021 to 2022, taking the total to 984, according to the Monaco Statistical Office (IMSEE).

Advertising and Communications accounts for almost one in two, while more than one in ten are involved in content and media.

Digital revenue amounted to 919.9 million euros in 2022, up by 5.7 percent on an annual basis, but although it grew over the 12 months this increase was slightly weaker than the growth in the economy as a whole.

More than seven out of ten employees in the digital sector are men. The vast majority live in France (87.8 percent).
