Scattered Clouds – film
The Audiovisual Institute of Monaco presents a 1967 film Scattered Clouds by Mikio Naruse. Naruse is the filmmaker portraying women who suffer in silence, or entrapped in unattainable happiness. His cinema is nowhere better encapsulated than in his final movie, a work of exquisite beauty.

Primavera Art Monaco evening
Join us for an evening at the studio of Monaco based British artist Toby Wright. Known primarily for his landscapes and portraits painted from real life. His most recent commission was a historic 13-person group portrait for Monaco’s Oceanographic Museum. It represents for the first time since 1909, the museum’s counsel of administrators under

Mothers of Africa curry evening
After a long Covid delay ‘Mothers of Africa’ are pleased to announce a get together evening at the ‘Indian Star’ restaurant in Beausoleil on Thursday 1st December 2022 at 19.30.
You can find out all about their new nursery school in Shiyala, Zambia just completed as well as their other current projects.
A special menu for 35 euros per person is arranged. This is at cost and no additional amount has been added for the charity. Please contact Brett Barling at brettb@monaco.mc to secure a reservation and give your menu choice. Places are limited to 25.
The Normal Heart – theatre
An evening in aid of Fight Aids Monaco, to mark World Aids Day. The Théâtre Princesse Grace will be staging a performance of The Normal Heart by American author and playwright Larry Kramer, who also founded Act Up. Translated and directed by Virginie de Clausade, with a cast including Dimitri Storoge, Thomas Espinéra, Joss Berlioux, and Déborah Grall. Let’s Get Lost – Chet Baker Tribute – Monte – Carlo Jazz Festival 2022
Cinema screening of “Let’s Get Lost” by Bruce Weber in tribute to Chet Baker, organised in partnership with the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco. A mix of archive footage and witness accounts, this documentary (in English) relates to the life and legend of trumpet player Chet Baker, the “James Dean of Jazz”.

Mission Enfance Jumble Christmas Sale- Braderie Mission Enfance 2022
Come and discover all the second-hand items prepared by our volunteers: baby, child and adult clothes, shoes and accessories, toys, books, childcare equipment, household linen, knick-knacks…
The proceeds from this sale will be used to finance container shipments and to support the humanitarian programmes of their mission in Burkina Faso. On Thursday, December 1 & Friday, December 2 from 10:00 to 18:00 at the 19 avenue des Papalins.

Annual Gala Dinner for Ukraine
The Elina Svitolina Foundation will hold an auction during its Annual Gala, which will be held for the first time at the Yacht Club of Monaco. The funds raised during this evening placed under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco will be used to finance the programs set up by the Foundation since 2019 including post-war Ukrainian tennis recovery program, but also to continue the logistical and material support provided to the families of beneficiaries severely impacted by the war in Ukraine. Elina Svitolina is the Ukrainian number one tennis player who has set many national records. She has won 16 singles tournaments in the WTA (Women’s Tennis Association). Monaco on Stage – 100 ans de concerts à Monaco
The immersive exhibition includes corridors marked with autographs, reconstructions of dressing rooms, and some exclusive, never-before-seen content on stars who have performed in Monaco.
It is also an opportunity to discover music from the ‘inside’. Visitors will be able to listen to guitars vibrating to the sound of iconic riffs, enjoy an astounding and unique version of the famous song ‘My Way’, experience the feelings of being onstage as well as learning the ties that bind Ella Fitzgerald and Alicia Keys, or what Céline Dion, Mariah Carey and Josephine Baker have in common.
Monaco Onstage – 100 ans de concerts à Monaco – promises a musical and visual experience like no other.

Looking forward
Handel’s Messiah will be performed in Monaco on Saturday December 10 at 19:00 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (22 avenue de Grande Bretagne). The concert will be conducted by Errol Girdlestone, with soloists Elenor Bowers-Jolley (soprano), Fleur Barron (mezzo-soprano), Gavan Ring (tenor) et Simon Bailey (bass), and the Ristretto Chamber Choir and Orchestra.
