Through German Eyes – exhibition
Visionary German curator Marcus Schäfer, with the support of Wendy Lauwers, brings together popular and well-known artists exhibiting their works in Monaco for the first time. Foremost among them is the perspectivist Adrian Bedoy, with special guests in the shape of British artist Sacha Jafri, urban painter Martin Köster, sculptor Stephan Marienfeld and painter Paulina Dornfeldt. Until December 2, from Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 18.30 at Espace 22.
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari – cineconcert
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari by Robert Wiene (1920), is an intriguing and prophetic example of German expressionist film-making, and at this event the screening will be accompanied by an orchestral score. Organised by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco in partnership with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. On Tuesday November 22, at 20:00 at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo – Salle Garnier.

Jethro Tull – Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival 2022
Ian Anderson and the group Jethro Tull, one of the world’s best-known prog rock bands, are set to return to the stage with “The Prog Years Tour”. On Wednesday, November 23, at 20.30 at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo – Salle Garnier.

MonacoPhil 2022
An international philately event under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II. Visitors will be invited to discover some exceptional pieces, with the Museum of Stamps and Coins exhibiting one hundred stamps and emblematic philately documents, including many borrowed from the collections of HSH Prince Albert II and the Royal Philatelic Collection, as well as from national postal museums and members of the prestigious Club de Monte-Carlo.
The Musée des Timbres et des Monnaies will host an exhibition of “100 of the World’s most iconic Stamps and Philatelic Documents”, while the Espace Léo Ferré will be the venue for a trade fair with 80 stands allocated to postal administrations and international stamp dealers. At the same time two exhibitions will be held at the Monaco Top Cars Collection, one focusing on India, the other on The Postal History of Napoleon’s “Grande Armée”. From Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 November, from 10:00 to 17.30 at the Terrasses de Fontvieille.

Flowers and Bolex, Rose Lowder and Her Agricultural Camera – screening
Les Rendez-vous de La Petite Salle – A meeting with the artist, who will be introducing a screening of her 16 mm films.
Born in Peru in 1941, Rose Lowder studied art in Lima and then in London. She was a film editor until Jean Rouch and his team at the University of Paris X invited her to bring together part of her research in a doctorate entitled ‘The experimental film as an instrument of visual research’ (1987). Active in the programming of rarely-shown films, in 1981 she co-founded the Experimental Film Archives of Avignon in order to build a collection and publish books to make these works more accessible to the public. Organ concert of Tania Dovgal at the Monaco cathedral
After a diploma course in piano and musicology in her native Ukraine, Tania Dovgal came to France to continue her studies in organ and harpsichord at the conservatories of Paris and then Toulouse. She owes her training to teachers Naïda Magomedbekova and Tatiana Bakhareva on the piano, Jan Willem Jansen, Michel Bouvard, Marie Louise Langlais on the organ, Svitlana Shabaltyna and Noëlle Spieth on the harpsichord. Holder of the State Diploma of Music Teacher, she teaches piano, organ and harpsichord in the Toulouse region and in the Tarn. On the program are works by Olivier Messiaen, Jean Langlais and Marc Giacone.

Magma and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra – Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival
An exceptional concert on the stage of the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo.
Magma, the cult group of the French music scene since 1969, has established itself with a unique music, at the crossroads of rock, jazz and avant-garde. An unique and unmissable combination: Magma and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra concert will start at 18:00 on Sunday November 27 at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo.

Monaco on Stage – 100 ans de concerts à Monaco
The immersive exhibition includes corridors marked with autographs, reconstructions of dressing rooms, and some exclusive, never-before-seen content on stars who have performed in Monaco.
It is also an opportunity to discover music from the ‘inside’. Visitors will be able to listen to guitars vibrating to the sound of iconic riffs, enjoy an astounding and unique version of the famous song ‘My Way’, experience the feelings of being onstage as well as learning the ties that bind Ella Fitzgerald and Alicia Keys, or what Céline Dion, Mariah Carey and Josephine Baker have in common.
Monaco Onstage – 100 ans de concerts à Monaco – promises a musical and visual experience like no other.

The temporary exhibition ‘From One World To Another, From The Visible To The Invisible’, invites visitors to discover previously unseen and original collections kept at the Monaco Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, where some of them have been for more than a century. Raoul Gunsbourg Exhibition
An emblematic figure in opera management, Raoul Gunsbourg was director of the Monte-Carlo Opera from his appointment by Prince Albert I in 1892 until 1951. Because of his creative audacity (countless world premieres in Monte-Carlo, including L’Enfant et les sortilèges de Ravel, La Rondine de Puccini, Le Jongleur de Notre-Dame de Massenet, Hélène de Saint-Saëns, Pénélope de Fauré, etc.), his artistic flair to attract the greatest singers (Enrico Caruso, Féodor Chaliapine, Nelly Melba…), we can consider him as a master of his craft.
This exhibition is organised by the Monte-Carlo Opera to mark the centenary of the death of Albert I and it takes place until Sunday November 27 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco – Salle Indigo, from 12:00 to 19:00.
