Minister of State Pierre Dartout and Céline Caron Dagioni, Minister of Infrastructure, Environment and Urban Planning, met with managers of SBM Offshore on Thursday, July 28.
SBM Offshore has been present in the Principality for almost 50 years and is a major employer.
Specialised in the design, installation and operation of offshore equipment in deepwater, SBM Offshore – otherwise known as “Single Buoy Moorings” – invests and focuses on the development of solutions for the exploitation of renewable energy, the company claims, although historically it has been provider of hardware for deep sea oil rigs.
In Monaco, the company has embraced ‘green solutions,’ a Government press release said.
