Thursday Live Sessions @ Indigo (Grimaldi Forum)
Bab L’Bluz
Literally “The door of the Blues” is a Franco-Moroccan group created in 2018 in Marrakech. This is a Moroccan “Psychedelic Rock” group inspired by the Gnawa and Hassani traditions, combining Rock, current music & Moroccan popular music. This multi-card quartet was born from an encounter between singer Yousra Mansour and musician Brice Bottin during a residency in Marrakech. From this research around Tuareg music, emanates the album Nayda which means “to get up”. And the least we can say is that the songs of Bab L’Bluz make you want to “get up” and dance.
On Thursday June 23, at 20:30 at Indigo.
The sessions are very popular. We highly recommend to reserve yout free seat!

RÊVES D’ÉTOILES
Organ music and French recital.
A unique formula of recital-conference where the image is combined with the music of the King of Instruments. An interstellar journey to the sounds of the organ. It was his passion as an organist linked to his career in space that gave Jean-Loup Chrétien the idea of offering this recital-conference. Pieces of improvised or written music mingle with film screenings, the latest images from the Hubble telescope, or those more specific to space flights. A musical projection by Hampus Lindwall with comments from the astronaut-organist Jean-Loup Chretien, on Sunday, june 26 at 17:00 in Monaco Cathedral. Free entry.

Newton, Riviera
The title of the exhibition clearly circumscribes a geography, that of the Côte-d’Azur to Bordighera, in Italy, which Helmut Newton photographed from the 1960s until his death in the early 2000s. “ARiviera” is thus a pretext to explore the work of a major photographer of the 20th century in a different way, through now famous images, like others rarely presented to the public.
At Villa Sauber until 13.11.2022.
