At the end of 2021, all CMB Monaco employees once again decided to forego any gifts from customers and invited them to take part in a solidarity operation in partnership with AMADE (Association Mondiale des Amis de l’Enfance).

Nearly 12,000 euros were collected for this operation aimed at supporting the “Energy of Hope” programme. These donations will allow the association to offer portable solar lamps to children attending schools in rural areas, so that they can study in better conditions.

Jérôme Froissart, Secretary General of the Association, said: “These donations will be allocated more specifically to the project launched in Senegal at the end of 2021 to create a “last mile” distribution network to facilitate children’s access to energy, digital technology, education and health.”

Francesco Grosoli, CEO of CMB Monaco, emphasises that “through this action, CMB Monaco is supporting a key initiative to promote children’s access to affordable, sustainable and quality energy. No less than 10 million children are born each year into a family without electricity. We hope that this gesture will contribute to the success of this beautiful and ambitious project.”
