Participants in the 24th edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique descended on the Principality on the sunny afternoon of Friday, January 28.

Having begun their journeys in Bad Homburg, Milan and Reims, the various historic rally machines came together in Monaco’s Port Hercule, making for quite a sight and sound.

Among the period correct historic rally cars to compete were some instantly recognisable legends, such as the original Renault Alpine A110 and the infamous Mini Cooper S, which dominated the 1964 Monte-Carlo Rally despite its miniature stature.

Some lesser-known gems came out to play, and just as well. The resulting scene was certainly not one to miss, but in case you did, here are just a few of our pictures from port.
