Almost 100 artist-created helmets will be sold for charity on Saturday, July 17. The sale of the 98 helmets, priced at 800 euros, from the DPM Motors collection will be in the hands of the Artcurial auction house.
It is hoped that the proceeds from the sale will bring practical improvements to the care of sick children at the Archet Hospital in Nice, in particular the equipping of 12 rooms to enable the parents to spend nights with their children. The presence of family is a vital part of the healing process, the Monaco Liver Association said.
The sale will take place at 17:00 on Saturday, July 17, at the Prince’s Car Collection on the Fontvieille terraces. A public exhibition of the helmets will be held on Thursday and Friday, July 15 and 16, from 10:00 until 17:30.
